Lasagne Bolognese

Lasagne Bolognese - Wundermix GmbH

Lasagna is just spaghetti flavored cake. That may perhaps be true. But how good is this cake? For me, lasagna is the perfect meal to surprise my loved one with a glass of red wine on Friday evening after a hard week at work. The only thing that shouldn't be missing is the candles - beware of the kitsch alarm. :-)

TM5 - For 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 150g Gouda
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 carrot (peeled)
  • 1 celery
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 500g minced meat, half and half
  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes, with liquid, 400 g each
  • 30 g tomato paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cube of vegetable broth
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 50g butter
  • 80g flour
  • 600 ml milk
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • approx. 9 lasagna sheets, without pre-cooking

Mix It

Chop the Gouda into pieces and transfer → 10 sec. | Level 8

Minced meat sauce

  • Chop the onion, garlic cloves, celery and carrot → 8 sec. | Level 5
  • push down with the spatula and chop again → 8 sec. | Level 5
  • Add oil and sauté → 2 minutes | Level 1 |Varoma
  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees
  • Add minced meat and mix → 5 min. | Gentle stirring level left rotation | Varoma
  • Add can of tomatoes with liquid, tomato paste, salt, vegetable stock, sugar and oregano → 12 min. | Counterclockwise rotation |100° | Level 2
  • Transfer the sauce and rinse the pot

Béchamel sauce

  • Melt butter → 2 min. | 100° |Level 1
  • Add flour and stir → 1 min. | 100° |Level 1
  • Add milk and salt and mix → 10 seconds | Level 5
  • Bring everything to the boil → 8 minutes | 100° | Level 2
  • Use the spatula to move around the bottom of the base as there may be butter/flour residue stuck and then stir briefly again → 10 seconds | Level 5

Layer It

  1. Pour Béchamel sauce thickly over the bottom of the baking dish
  2. Place lasagne sheets on top without pre-cooking
  3. Cover with minced meat sauce
  4. Add some béchamel sauce on top
  5. Sprinkle a little cheese on top

Repeat steps 2-5 until the baking dish is full

  • Sprinkle the last layer of béchamel sauce and the remaining cheese on top
  • Bake in the preheated oven at top and bottom heat → 30 minutes | 200°
