Serbian rice with meat

Today we have a great hearty dish with rice and meat for you as #recipe of the week.

Ingredients:

  • 1 piece of cheese (of your choice)
  • some parsley
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 500 g chicken (turkey or pork)
  • 10g oil
  • 100 g bacon or diced ham
  • 50 g tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp vegetable broth
  • curry
  • chili
  • pepper
  • 800g water
  • 250g rice
  • 1 red pepper diced
  • 100 g thawed peas
  • 100g corn

Preparation:

Chop the cheese and parsley in the mixing bowl for 5 seconds/speed setting 6 and transfer. Chop the onion and garlic for 5 seconds/speed 5. Place the meat in cubes with the oil in the mixing bowl and steam for 5 mins/90°C/LL/speed 1. Add the bacon or ham cubes with the tomato paste, peppers and vegetable broth. Season with curry, chili and pepper to taste. Now pour in the water and rice and cook for 15 mins/100°C/LL/speed 1. Now cut the peppers into cubes and put them in the mixing bowl with the thawed peas and corn and cook again for 5 minutes/90°C/LL/speed 1.
