Savoy cabbage noodles with ham and cream sauce

  • 1 onion large
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 g bacon cut into cubes
  • 200 g cooked ham in one piece
  • 1 1/2 L water
  • 1/2 savoy cabbage
  • 250 g tagliatelle


  • 500 ml cooking liquid
  • 1 pack of cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/4 tsp vegetable broth
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg


Halve the onion and chop 5 seconds/speed 5. Add olive oil, bacon and chopped ham and fry for 4 mins/Varoma®/speed 1-2.
Pour in the water and place the chopped savoy cabbage in the Varoma and cook for 18 minutes/Varoma®/level 2.
Then put the tagliatelle noodles through the opening in the lid into the mixing bowl and cook for another 10 minutes/counterclockwise/Varoma®/level 1. Drain through a sieve and collect the cooking liquid. Mix the pasta and ham with the savoy cabbage in a bowl and keep warm.
For the sauce, put all the ingredients into the mixing bowl and cook for 3 minutes/90°C/speed 2. Season to taste and pour over the savoy cabbage and ham noodles and mix.


Savoy cabbage can also be replaced with white cabbage. Then use caraway instead of nutmeg. You can also replace the cabbage with leek, then just use pepper and salt and possibly liquid seasoning to taste.
