Cheese roll

Danger of addiction ---- These cheese rolls are amazing!!!
½ cube of yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
250 g water .......................... 37°/3 min/1 (heat/dissolve)

375 g wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
150 g grated Emmental cheese or grated Gouda................4 min / kneading setting (or approx. 10 min. Kühmaschine)
for brushing/sprinkling
2 tbsp milk and 1 egg yolk
50 g Ger. Cheese
Place the soft dough on a floured work surface and shape it into a roll, cut off about 9 pieces and place on the tray; Cover and let rise for about 15 minutes.
Then brush with the beaten milk egg, spread the rest of the cheese on top and bake in a COLD oven at 200° for about 20 minutes. Let it brown slightly -- keep an eye on it!!!
