Description
Kneading, stirring and chopping - the Thermomix blades are true all-rounders. But what is actually quite helpful can sometimes still be a nuisance. Especially when sous-vide cooking, the knives get in the way and can cut open the vacuum bags of the steaks. Potatoes or sausages can be damaged during cooking and pasta can get tangled in the knife.

Until recently, the Vorwerk wave was the way to cover the knife to eliminate the unwanted side effects of the knife. Thanks to Wundermix, you now have a new innovative alternative: the WunderCap. Unlike the shaft, the blade replacement WunderCap no valuable space is lost. Because instead of simply covering the blender blade, it is simply replaced by the WunderCap replaced. This gives you 20% more volume in your mixing bowl.

The WunderCap can be used up to 120 degrees and is not suitable for frying.

This is how the alternative to the knife cover works
While the Vorwerk wave was considered a new innovation on the market to enable sous-vide cooking in the mixing bowl, the WunderCap is revolutionizing knife covers. This is because it not only covers the mixing blade, but also replaces it completely, thus creating even more space in the mixing bowl. Simply remove the blade, WunderCap insert and set the Thermomix to the desired program.

Delicate food or vacuum bags for sous-vide cooking, which could easily be damaged by the rotation of the blades, were previously placed on the blade cover. Now you have more space in the mixing bowl. Thanks to the new blender blade replacement from Wundermix, you can use your Thermomix® even more effectively:

• You can cook larger quantities of pasta, potatoes or sausages
• Noodles no longer get stuck in the blade
• Without the conventional blade cover, you have more space in the Thermomix, e.g. for larger vacuum bags for sous vide cooking

Advantages of the WunderCap compared to alternative knife covers

• Allows you to cook large portions without the food getting caught in the blade
• Unlike with the wave, for example, you don't have to worry about the knife cover falling out and making a mess when transferring dishes, as the knife cover can be easily removed. WunderCap sits firmly in the mixing bowl and has the same locking mechanism as the mixing blade itself
• The biggest advantage is that you now have even more space in the mixing bowl for your food due to the missing blade: Compared to the usual blade cover, you get 20% volume for free.

Blender blade alternative for the Thermomix: Available for TM6, TM5 and TM31
The WunderCap is available in 3 different versions, each suitable for the Thermomix models TM6, TM5 and TM31 (please select when ordering!). Simply remove the blade and use the WunderCap instead.
WunderCap is also compatible with the Thermomix Friend. Select the WunderCap-version to match the mixing bowl (TM6 or TM5) that you use in the Friend.

WunderCap have. By the way, the WunderCap, unlike the blender blade, is not connected to the motor of the appliance and is guaranteed to be absolutely leak-proof!
