Chocolate milk buns

I can remember these small, fluffy, soft, sweet things that I bought in the supermarket years ago, long before I became a hobby baker, and ate them with pleasure. They were called French rolls or something similar. Today, thanks to Thermomix, I make them myself. Best enjoyed warm...

TM5 – for 12 pieces

Ingredients for the dough

  • 300g flour
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 40 ml milk
  • 40 ml sunflower oil
  • 1 pack of baking powder
  • 90g sugar
  • 100 g chocolate chips, baking stable
  • 1 egg

 

Ingredients for spreading

  • 1 egg or a little milk

 

Mix it

  • Put all the ingredients for the dough except for the chocolate chips in the mixing bowl and knead for → 1 minute dough stage
  • Add the chocolate chips and stir in → 20 seconds Counterclockwise rotation | stage 2
  • Place the dough on a well-floured work surface and knead briefly again
  • Form into a roll
  • Divide into 12 pieces and form into balls
  • Place the 12 rolls on a baking tray lined with baking paper or in a suitable shape and brush with the beaten egg
  • Bake in the preheated oven at 180 °C for about 20 minutes
