A glass of sparkling water, a few ice cubes, lemon slices and a tablespoon of homemade syrup and the raspberry-thyme spritz is ready for hot summer days.
But the syrup also perfectly rounds off ice cream, cakes or Greek yoghurt as a topping and provides a subtle note of thyme A special kind of taste experience.
The required raspberry juice is obtained with MixFino from fresh or frozen fruits and processed into a delicious syrup.
Ingredients:
1 kg raspberries (fresh or frozen)
3-4 stalks of thyme
100g sugar
50 g preserving sugar
20 g vanilla sugar
Sparkling mineral water
Ice cubes
Thyme and raspberries for garnish

Preparation in the Thermomix:
- Fill the mixing bowl with 2000 g of water.

Place MixFino on the mixing bowl lid, insert the hose into a container to collect the juice, put Varoma on top, add raspberries weigh and
Juice for 30 minutes / Varoma / gentle stirring setting. - Empty the mixing bowl and wash it out.
- Put the juice obtained with the remaining ingredients in the mixing bowl and 20 minutes / 100 degrees / level 1 bring to a boil.
- Pour the syrup into a clean bottle that has been washed out with hot water and allow to cool.
