1. preparation
Make sure that your fermentation basket is clean and dry. Dust it generously with flour (e.g. rye flour) to prevent the dough from sticking.

2. prepare the dough
Prepare your dough according to the recipe and allow it to rest for the first time.

3. place the dough in the fermentation basket
Shape the dough and place it upside down in the floured basket. Make sure that it lies evenly.

4. leave to ferment
Cover the dough with a cloth and leave it to rest for 30-90 minutes, depending on the recipe, until it has risen well.

5. remove the dough
Carefully loosen the dough by tilting the basket or lifting the dough out. If necessary, dust lightly with flour.

6. baking
Off to the oven! Your fermentation basket has given the dough the perfect shape - now you can bake your bread.

7. cleaning
Remove dough residue carefully, preferably without water - simply shake it out or brush it off with a soft brush. This will keep the natural cane intact. You can wash the cotton insert in cold water at 30 °C.

Important note

Please do not place in the oven! Only for fermenting the bread, not for baking!
