The WunderPeeler is one of our best-selling products.
As the previous version of our potato peeler did not meet the expectations of all our customers, we thought about how we could optimize the WunderPeeler. The result is the high-performance plastic grating disc with uniform, improved sharpness for more thorough peeling results.

The improved high-performance plastic friction disk

The new high-performance grating disk made of high-quality polypropylene is equipped with 764 pointed cones that effectively remove the surface of the potatoes. An ingenious production process ensures consistent sharpness with every piece.

For which WunderPeeler is the new plastic grating disc compatible?

The new plastic friction disk is compatible with both WunderPeeler versions (Thermomix and Monsieur Cuisine). However, it is necessary that the carrier attachment has the fixing clip, which is installed on all models delivered from December 2021. If your WunderPeeler does not have a clamp or you are unsure, please contact our customer service.

Peeled potatoes are perfect for further processing!

The WunderPeeler cannot remove the potato skin in dents and curves.
However, as small pieces of peel are neither disturbing nor noticeable in the finished dish (e.g. potato pancakes, mashed potatoes, potato gratin, fried potatoes, etc.), it is not necessary to rework them by hand. However, whether small pieces of skin on cooked potatoes are a nuisance and need to be removed manually is a matter of personal preference.
