Cotton cake
This recipe gets its name from its wonderfully fluffy consistency. You could certainly call it cloud cake if you imagine that they are just as fluffy. We at the #Landhaus team think the cotton wool cake is heavenly delicious!

Cooking time 40-50 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
- 6 egg whites
- 60g margarine
- 120g sugar
- 140g milk
- 250 g flour type 405
- 1 pack of baking powder
- ½ lemon zest
APPLICATION:
Insert the stirring attachment! Put the egg white in the mixing bowl, beat for 2 mins/speed 4 and transfer. Remove mixing attachment!
Put the margarine and sugar in the mixing bowl and mix until creamy at least 1 minute/speed setting 3 .
Add milk, flour, baking powder and lemon peel and mix 20 seconds/speed 4 . Now add the stiff egg whites and stir again for 20 seconds/speed 4 .
Pour the dough into a greased loaf pan and bake for approx. 40-50 minutes at 180°C top/bottom heat.
