INGREDIENTS

  • 260 pieces of milk
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 85g sugar
  • 550 g wheat flour 405
  • 85g margarine
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 100-150 g coarsely chopped chocolate
  • 1 egg yolk

INSTRUCTIONS

Add milk, yeast and sugar to mixing bowl, mix 2 min. / 37°C / speed 2. Add flour, margarine, salt and chocolate for 2 min. / kneading setting. Form the dough into a ball and let it rise, covered, for 20 minutes. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions, round it out and let it rise covered for 30 minutes. Brush with beaten egg yolk and bake at 180°C for approx. 20 to 25 minutes.

Tip 1: Since the chocolate cookies are very popular in schools and at daycare parties, simply divide the dough into approx. 15-20 portions for small children's hands.
