Ribbon pasta with dried cherry tomatoes, tuna and olives

Today we had to do some quick cooking again. Dried cherry tomatoes and olives are always
available, because with these two ingredients you can conjure up a wonderful pasta sauce in turbo time.


Ribbon pasta with dried cherry tomatoes, tuna and olives


Another SpeeDodo recipe: ready to serve in 20 minutes and delicious too.


Preparation time: 20min, including 10min working time Recipe:

  • 400g ribbon noodles or whatever pasta you have in the house
  • 2 and 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 spring onions sliced
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1/4 Thai chili, seedless, cut into fine strips
  • 2 jars tuna fillets in oil, drained
  • 70g dried cherry tomatoes (e.g. from bongu.de or dried tomatoes - not the ones in oil)
  • 1-2 tbsp Italian herbs
  • Salt pepper
  • 150ml cream
  • 4-6 tbsp black and green olives

Conventional preparation:
Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente, drain and mix with 6 tablespoons of olive oil. 4-5
Reserve ladles of pasta water.
Heat the remaining oil in a pot, add sliced ​​garlic and spring onions and
sweat.
Add the tuna fillets and fry.
Deglaze with the pasta water, add olives and cherry tomatoes and season with Italian spices (oregano, thyme and
Rosemary), salt and black pepper. Reduce by half, pour in cream and again
reduce.
Serve with the pasta.


Preparation in the Thermomix:
Onion, garlic and chilli: 5sec/level 5
Add oil: 3min/Varoma/level 2
Add tuna and herbs as well as pepper and salt: 4 minutes/level 1/clockwise
4-6 ladles of pasta water: 3min/Varoma/level 1/ clockwise rotation
Add tomatoes: 3min/70°C/speed 1/ counterclockwise
Add olives and cream: 2 minutes/70°C/level 1/ counterclockwise rotation
