INGREDIENTS
- 180g flour
- Melt 55 g butter, not hot
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs separated
- 240 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla paste
- 50 g baking-proof chocolate drops
INSTRUCTIONS
Place the egg whites with salt in the mixing bowl and beat until semi-stiff for 2 minutes/speed 4 and transfer. Add the remaining ingredients to the mixing bowl and mix for 3 minutes/speed 3 to form a dough. Add the chocolate chips and continue stirring on level 3.
Finally, use the spatula to fold in the semi-stiff egg whites at level 3. The creamy mixture can be spread into a cake pop maker or a well-greased mini muffin tin. The pancake poppers are baked on the middle shelf at 190 °C (O/U) for about 12-15 minutes until golden yellow. Now they should cool for about 10 minutes before dusting them with powdered sugar or pouring maple syrup over them.
