Marzipan cherry jam

Today we have a great winter “jam” for you as #recipe of the week.

Made very quickly with the # Thermomix ®.
Very tasty on freshly baked yeast plaits or toast.
Also a great gift idea!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 600 g cherries, frozen or glass
  • 200 g preserving sugar 3:1
  • 100 g marzipan raw material

APPLICATION:

Cut the marzipan into small pieces. Drain the cherries (if they are out of the jar).
Now put all the ingredients in the mixing bowl and chop for 15-20 seconds/speed 7-8.
Then bring to the boil for 10 minutes/100 °C/gentle stirring setting.
Pour hot into prepared twist-off jars and turn them upside down for approx. 2-3 minutes.
