Italian pizza soup

Italienische Pizzasuppe - Wundermix GmbH

Today our culinary journey takes us to Italy. If we look out the window, then maybe we wouldn't just leave for dinner. The taste of pizza is served, but without the many annoying calories. Thanks to our quick #Thermomix® #recipe, you hardly have to move.

Preparation: 5-10 minutes
Cooking time: 17 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled (approx. 800g)
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1 stalk of leek
  • 250 ml vegetable broth
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • Fresh basil, or frozen
  • 2 slices of cooked ham (optionally salami)
  • 80 g herb processed cheese or herb cream cheese

INSTRUCTIONS:

Puree the tomatoes for 10 seconds/speed setting 7. Wash the peppers, halve them and cut them into cubes. Also wash the leek and cut into rings. Add the vegetables to the tomatoes and cook for approx. 2 mins/100°C/speed 1. Add the stock and mushrooms and bring to the boil for another 2 mins/100°C/speed 1. Then stir in the processed cheese and sausage at level 2 and season with salt, pepper and oregano (or pizza seasoning). Then sprinkle with the basil.
