Hearty lentil stew

Finally there is another #recipe for our beloved #CrockPot . We'll show you a gently prepared, hearty and very tasty lentil stew with sausages. Of course, this can be varied as desired. Tell us how you like to prepare lentils!

Preparation 30 minutes

Cooking time 5-6 hours

INGREDIENTS:

  • Do not soak 130 g lentils
  • Do not soak 170 g of red lentils
  • 1 bunch of soup greens, chopped small
  • 3 additional roots
  • 3 medium-sized potatoes
  • 1 pack diced bacon
  • 400 g soup meat or leg slices
  • 6 pieces of Vienna sausages in 1cm thick slices
  • 1 tablespoon heaped flour
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 1/2 tbsp instant or homemade vegetable broth

APPLICATION:

Place potatoes, roots, greens, bacon and lentils in the CrockPot and fill with water so that everything is covered.
Add the vegetable stock and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Now cook on high for 1 hour, then switch to low, add the soup meat and simmer for 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally.
After 3 hours, add the flour and stir well. 20 minutes before serving, add the sausage to the stew.
