Greek White Bread From The Wooden Baking Frame

Today we have a recipe for you from our new bread baking book for wooden baking frames! Great, very varied bread recipes on 56 pages. Every recipe with a picture, the book with eyelets for filing!

The wooden baking frames are made of solid beech wood and give the bread a great taste, like wood-fired bread from the country.

Servings 1 bread

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 370ml water
  • 750 g flour type 550
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 20g olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Add water and yeast to mixing bowl and dissolve 4 min/37°C/speed 2. Now add the remaining ingredients and knead for 3 minutes/bread setting and then pour over. Cover and let rise for at least 40 minutes. Preheat oven to 180°C. In the meantime, grease the baking frame well and place it on a baking tray lined with baking paper or on a pizza stone. Pour in the dough and bake on the middle rack for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn the temperature down to 160° and bake for about 45 - 50 minutes. The bread rises a lot when baking.
