Portions 1 loaf
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cube of yeast
- 370 ml water
- 750 g flour type 550
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 20 g olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Put the water and yeast into the mixing bowl and dissolve for 4 minutes/37°C/speed setting 2. Now add the remaining ingredients and knead for 3 minutes/bread setting, then decant. Cover and leave to rise for at least 40 mins. Preheat the oven to 180°C. In the meantime, grease the baking frame well and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper or on a pizza stone. Pour in the dough and bake on the middle shelf for approx. 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, turn the temperature down to 160° and bake for approx. 45 - 50 minutes. The bread will rise considerably during baking.
RECIPE NOTES
The breads taste particularly good when baked in a wooden baking frame. The wooden baking frames are made of solid beech wood and give the bread a great taste of its own, just like a wood-fired country loaf.
