Bagels - Wundermix GmbH


Bagels fresh from the oven from the book “ Delicious rolls from the Thermomix

The #Landhaus team wishes you a good appetite.


  • 450 g flour 405
  • 50 g cornstarch
  • 3/4 cube of yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking malt
  • 300 ml lukewarm water

to sprinkle:

  • Cheese
  • Poppy
  • sesame


Put everything in the mixing bowl and mix for 2 minutes/bread setting.
Let it rise in the pot until the dough comes out of the top of the pot (approx. 45-60 minutes) then knead again for 2 minutes/bread setting.
Now form balls weighing approx. 60g and drill a hole in the middle with a wooden spoon or your finger, move in a circle to enlarge the hole.
Now bring water to the boil and let each bagel sit for 15 seconds on each side. Now take it out with a slotted spoon and sprinkle it on a baking tray lined with baking paper with cheese, poppy seeds, sesame etc. as desired. Hot air 180-200°C, 20-25min. Bake until golden.
