Apple cake with icing

INGREDIENTS

Dough

  • 100 g margarine
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 175 g flour type 405
  • 1 p baking powder
  • 4-5 drops vanilla flavoring

Topping

  • 350 g apples, peeled and sliced
  • glaze
  • 200 g cream
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 40 g sugar
  • 30 g vanilla pudding powder
  • 50 g flaked almonds

 

INSTRUCTIONS

Dough

Put the margarine and sugar into the TM and mix for 40 seconds/speed setting 4 until creamy. Now add the remaining ingredients and mix for 20 seconds/speed setting 4. Pour the finished batter into a greased springform pan.

Topping

To make the topping, put the peeled, quartered apples into the TM and chop for approx. 5-6 seconds/speed setting 3-4. Pour the apple mixture onto the cake mixture.

Frosting

To make the icing, put all the ingredients except the almonds into the TM and mix for 30 seconds/speed setting 3. Pour the icing over the cake and sprinkle with the flaked almonds. Bake the cake in the middle of the oven at 180°C for approx. 35-40 minutes.
