Mango and ginger jam

Mango-Ingwer-Marmelade - Wundermix GmbH

Today we have a deliciously fruity "jam" as our #recipe of the week.

The rum gives it a little "extra kick"!

Ingredients:

  • 450 g mango pulp
  • 20 g fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • 500 g gelling sugar 1:1

Preparation:

Peel the ginger and cut or slice into wafer-thin slices.

Place the mango flesh in the blender jug and mix with the ginger, rum and preserving sugar for 5 seconds/speed setting 6 and leave to infuse for at least 4-5 hours.

Then cook for 10 minutes/ 100 °C/speed setting 2 and pour immediately into hot rinsed jars.

Seal the jars and turn upside down to cool.
